Job summary

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC seeks a BSA Quality Control Assistant Manager to lead product validation and drive quality improvements. The role emphasizes data analysis of in-process and finished goods, defect reporting, and corrective actions across operations.

You will work with cross-functional teams to align with customer and supplier requirements. Strong background in QMS, SPC, Six Sigma, and GD&T is essential, as well as leadership and communication skills to guide teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quality management, industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical engineering or similar.
• Minimum 5 years experience in quality/control/assurance in manufacturing sectors, data analysis strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and internal/supplier auditing.
• Proficiency in data analysis, trend evaluation, and quality metric interpretation.
• Experience with SPC and Six Sigma methodologies and core quality tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T and to manage reliability testing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead product validation to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Document quality processes, control plans, work instructions, and characteristics management.
• Oversee defect reporting and root cause investigations with corrective actions.
• Coordinate reporting of quality metrics and trends to management.
• Manage reliability testing activities and ISIR documentation with customer requirements.
• Ensure 5-S standards are maintained in the quality department.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to drive improvements.
