Job summary

Seneca Foods Corporation in Cumberland, WI is seeking a Quality Control Lead to oversee QC staff, review production records, and maintain production data. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and strict adherence to GMPs and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must have good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must have some mathematical aptitude.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
• Ability to utilize basic Microsoft Word/Excel functions.
• Ability to utilize basic computer and tablet functions.
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist QC seasonal employees on the production floor
• Assist with the organization and completion of daily record review
• Ensure that GMP’s (General manufacturing Practices), safety rules, and regulations are being followed and enforced
• Update and maintain production data spreadsheets daily
• Collect and organize hold, segregation, and downgrade samples
• Complete various QC and Safety Checklists in the appropriate timeframes
• Perform boiler checks during the non-production season
• Perform sanitation projects as assigned
• Other duties as assigned
