The American Red Cross is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Manager in Manufacturing to direct daily operations in the QC Lab, managing staff, volunteers and budgets to ensure compliant testing of pathogen-reduced platelet products for release to area hospitals. As a Q uality Control Laboratory Manager in Manufacturing, you will be responsible for the management and control of all daily operations in the QC Lab. You will manage staff that manufactures, processes and performs testing on pathogen reduced platelet blood products for release to area hospitals for patient use. In this role, you will be responsible for management and control of all daily manufacturing and logistics operations, including all staff, assigned volunteers, budgets, environment, and work processes. You'd be expected to ensure compliance with federal, state, Red Cross directives and regional policy, procedures, and regulations.
MONDAY - FRIDAY 8:00AM - 4:30PM. Flexibility to work and engage with employees across all shifts in a 24/7 operation is required.
$92,000 + depending on relevant experience.
