Job summary

Cadillac Asphalt LLC is seeking a detail-oriented lab technician to support routine tests and analyses in our testing laboratory. You will prepare solutions, maintain records, calibrate equipment, and ensure safety protocols are followed on site in Michigan.

The role requires a high school diploma, familiarity with lab equipment, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Clean driving record and PPE compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instrumentation, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to work independently or in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Follow directions and participate in weekly safety meetings.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses using analytical instruments.
• Prepare and standardize chemical solutions, reagents, and samples.
• Maintain accurate records of experimental data and results.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE policies.
• Work in a team environment and assist coworkers as needed.
