Job summary

Compana Pet Brands, a global leader in pet care and nutrition, seeks a Quality Control Lab Technician in Dallas, TX. You will perform quality inspections and lab tests on materials, batches, and finished products, ensuring they meet specifications and release criteria.

Responsibilities include pre-operational inspections, sanitation verification, batch documentation, and collaboration with Quality and Production teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Science-based degree preferred (associate/bachelor).
• Minimum 2 years of quality laboratory and/or manufacturing experience.
• Experience using lab equipment and documenting results.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and performing quality lab testing of manufactured and purchased materials, components, batches, and finished goods to meet specifications.
• Performing pre-operational inspections including ATP testing and verify sanitation activities are documented and followed.
• Assist in developing procedures and batch instructions for chemicals or components used to create formulas.
• Conduct quality lab tests to track results and document progress from lab to production runs.
• Collect environmental, raw material, and finished product samples; monitor retain samples and communicate findings.
