Job summary

Berjé Inc. in Carteret, NJ is seeking a QC Lab Technician to perform routine testing on essential oils, raw materials, and finished products. You will generate COAs, enter results into QC databases, and help maintain lab quality and safety standards.

A chemistry-related degree and GC familiarity are preferred. The role offers hourly compensation between $26.00 and $29.00 with potential discretionary bonuses, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Food Science, Biology, or related field preferred; equivalent laboratory experience considered.
• Experience in quality control, analytical laboratory, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with GC equipment and laboratory information systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control testing of essential oils, aromatic chemicals, raw materials, and finished products in accordance with specifications.
• Prepare, review, and generate Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for customer requests and internal documentation.
• Enter sample information and testing results into QC databases and ERP systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of laboratory equipment and work areas.
