Job summary

Alcon, a global leader in eye care, is seeking an Associate I for the Quality Control Labs to support testing, inspection, and analysis of products and raw materials. You will report results and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure lab data integrates into manufacturing.

In this para-professional role, you will follow SOPs, adhere to GxP regulations, and complete required training. The shift is second, 40 hours per week, with minimal travel and relocation assistance unavailable.

Qualifications

• Fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• 3 years of relevant experience.
• Work hours: Second Shift - 40 hours per week - 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
• Travel: Minimal

Responsibilities

• Perform business support or clerical tasks in the Quality Control Labs according to procedures, contributing to efficient business operations through accurate task completion.
• Follow established procedures with limited decision-making authority, requiring job-related training, attention to detail, and reliability.
• Conduct inspection, testing, and analysis of products and raw materials to ensure they meet required specifications and standards, utilizing various analytical techniques and lab equipment.
• Report test results accurately and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure the seamless integration of lab results into the manufacturing process.
• Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training.
• Commit to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements, meeting individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization.
