Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; pursuing related degree preferred.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Interest in reading shop drawings and blueprints.
• Strong math, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre‑pour and post‑pour inspections of precast concrete products.
• Perform production inspections to verify design specifications and quality standards.
• Measure products and form setups for dimensional accuracy.
• Compare products to shop drawings and project specs.
• Support concrete lab testing including slump, air content, temperature, and compressive strength.
• Document inspections using tablets/computers and QA software.
• Maintain orderly inspection records and generate reports of findings.
• Collaborate with QA and production teams to address quality issues.
• Assist in keeping the lab organized and compliant with procedures.
• Learn industry standards and safety policies; support corrective actions when needed.
