They will work in a team environment or independently and are responsible for helping and assisting the quality and reliability of our products.**What you’ll do:**Primary Responsibilities:* Perform daily inspection on incoming material* Work in team settings to provide timely results* Use tools such as caliper and micrometers to inspect product* Draft inspection reports as may be necessary* Work with calibrations, nonconforming product, and quality related programs* Additional duties as assigned by Manager**What you need to know:**Experience/Skills/Education:Required:* Experience in a QC role with a background in manufacturing, preferably in the medical device industry* High school diploma or equivalent* Ability to read blueprints/drawings with strong attention to details* Proficient with Microsoft Office* The ability to articulate concise reportsDesired:* Medical device industry**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB*** Manufacturing environment requiring prolonged standing, walking, bending, twisting, and handling of inspection tools and materials.* Frequent use of precision measuring instruments including calipers, gauges, and micrometers.* Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.* Exposure to manufacturing noise, machinery, and varied temperatures; appropriate PPE required at all times.This is a contract/contingent role. The pay rate for this engagement is $21.50 – $23.50 per hour. Compensation for this role is paid by an authorized third-party staffing agency, who will serve as the employer of record for this engagement.
