Qualifications

  • Proficiency with calipers, micrometers and gauges; strong reading of drawings.
  • Knowledge of GDP, cGMP and QMS; attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

This role performs incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections throughout the manufacturing cycle, maintaining the accurate documentation and nonconformance reporting that underpins SkinHealth Systems' ISO 13485-certified Quality Management System.WHAT YOU’LL DO* Perform inspection and testing activities during First Article Inspections (FAI), Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Final Quality Control (FQC) inspections.* Generate detailed and accurate inspection data sheets in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and SkinHealth Systems' Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.* Properly document inspections, prepare first article documentation, and compile certification packages.* Conduct product build documentation reviews and end-item data package reviews.* Generate nonconformance reports for discrepancies found during inspection processes.* Utilize conventional inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure precise measurements.* Ensure all inspection equipment is qualified and calibrated prior to use.* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.* Conduct visual inspections to identify defects or non-conformities in products.* Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement.* Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and quality records.* Report quality-related issues to leads and managers in a timely manner.* Adhere to all company safety procedures and perform job functions in a safe and effective manner.* Perform other duties as assigned.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**Required*** High school diploma or GED.* Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment.* Proficiency in using conventional inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.* Strong understanding of GDP, cGMP, and QMS requirements.* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.* Experience generating nonconformance reports and inspection documentation.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.* Experience with pallet jacks and other materials handling equipment.* Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.**Preferred*** Associate's degree or higher in a related field.* Medical device industry experience.* Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB* Manufacturing environment requiring prolonged standing, walking, bending, twisting, and handling of inspection tools and materials throughout the shift.* Frequent use of precision measuring instruments, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.* Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.* Exposure to manufacturing noise, machinery, equipment, and varied temperatures; appropriate PPE required.* Must adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment at all times.This is a contract/contingent role. The pay rate for this engagement is $21.50 – $23.00 per hour. Compensation for this role is paid by an authorized third-party staffing agency, who will serve as the employer of record for this engagement.
