Grimco, Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented Manufacturing Quality Inspector to ensure our plastic sheet and roll products meet specifications and quality standards.

You will perform in‑process and final inspections on the production floor, using precision tools and documenting results to support ongoing quality improvement. Ideal candidates will have manufacturing or quality inspection experience, be adept with measuring tools and basic software, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Manufacturing Quality Inspector to help ensure our manufactured plastic sheet and roll products consistently meet customer specifications and our internal quality standards.

Job Description

The Quality Inspector ensures that all manufactured plastic sheet and roll products meet customer specifications and Grimco’s internal quality standards. This role performs in‑process and final inspections, uses precision measuring tools, verifies color and surface properties, completes work‑order documentation, and partners closely with production to maintain consistent quality throughout each run.

• Important: This is a hands‑on manufacturing quality position located on the production floor. It is not a laboratory, pharmaceutical, engineering, product development, or scientific research role. Successful candidates typically come from manufacturing, production, quality inspection, machine operation, printing, plastics, converting, industrial operations, or warehouse environments. Schedule & Compensation Monday through Friday, 10pm to 6:30 am Pay Range: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour (based on experience) Shift Differential: Additional $1.50 per hour on top of base rate

Preferred:

• Experience in plastics, printing, converting, or industrial production
• Experience with quality inspection equipment and dimensional measurements

Ideal Background Manufacturing

Plastics production, industrial production, printing and converting, machine operation, material handling, warehouse operations, or production quality inspection. This role is generally not aligned with laboratory research, pharmaceutical research, academic research, biochemical engineering, or product development career paths.
