Job summary

VSSI Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to join a growing manufacturing team in Hempstead, TX. The role focuses on inspections, measurements, testing, and documentation to ensure products meet quality standards.

Applicants should be comfortable reading blueprints and using precision measurement tools, and able to perform quality inspections in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Excellent teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article inspections and in-process quality inspections.
• Conduct equipment calibrations and maintain calibration records.
• Inspect finished products to ensure specifications and quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and other precision tools.
• Complete quality documentation and data entry accurately.
• Assist with trimming and other production-related tasks as needed.
• Identify and report quality concerns to supervisors and production teams.
