Job summary

Silvus Technologies’ HQ in West Los Angeles is seeking an Electronics Quality Technician-II to join the on-site Operations - Quality Control team. The role focuses on advanced inspection, debugging, and calibration to support StreamCaster MANET products.

The successful candidate will perform rework per IPC standards, assist in RMA diagnostics, and collaborate with engineers to drive process improvements while adhering to safety and quality practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) with 3+ years in electronics assembly/inspection/rework or Associate’s with 1 year experience.
• Strong soldering skills with fine-pitch SMT components.
• Familiarity with basic test equipment (oscilloscope, DMM, power supply).
• Proficient in Windows-based data entry and documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced visual inspection and rework per IPC-J-STD 001 standards.
• Perform continuity, resistance, and voltage checks to support root cause analysis.
• Build and repair cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, and test fixtures.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and test equipment.
• Support RMA processing by performing initial diagnostic checks on returned units.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers to identify process improvements.
