Job summary

Mastronardi Produce Ltd. in the United States is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to monitor CCPs, perform internal audits, and ensure GMPs are followed. The role includes sampling, labeling verification, and maintaining proper chain of custody for samples.

Responsibilities include data entry, training, and supporting special quality projects. This position offers a rotational night shift (8 PM–8 AM) and is based on site in Kentucky, Berea.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and verify Critical control Points (CCPs) meet requirements and ensure any corrective actions are properly performed and recorded
• Conduct and support internal audits and help ensure good manufacturing practices (GMPs) are being followed
• Verify and monitor product labeling and changeovers to ensure accurate labeling of all products
• Acquire samples in accordance with aseptic technique and methodologies
• Correctly label and collect routine pre-harvest and post-harvest product samples as scheduled
• Perform sampling of the production environment using aseptic technique
• Enter sample orders into the laboratory portal per written procedures
• Ensure samples are given to delivery drivers and that proper chain of custody is performed
• Perform data entry of results from validation studies or other special projects
• Monitor inventory of PPE and other food safety and quality supplies
• Provide training when required
• Performs any other quality related tasks or special projects as assigned

Week 1: Monday-Tuesday & Friday-Saturday Sunday
