Job summary

Nordson Medical is seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician to inspect raw materials, subassemblies, and finished devices across Disposable and Electronics lines. The role emphasizes adherence to QSR, ISO 13485, and Nordson policies, with responsibility for inspecting, documenting, and supporting investigations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in quality control within a regulated environment, proficiency with inspection tools, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Experience in quality control, inspection, manufacturing, or regulated industry (2+ years).
• 3–5 years in medical device or ISO 13485/FDA-regulated manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and test methods; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials for Disposable and Electronics product lines.
• Perform inspections of raw materials, subassemblies, in-process products, returns, and finished devices.
• Verify production line clearances and compliance with quality requirements.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Coordinate training for IQC Technicians and support investigations.
• Identify and process non-conforming materials and products per procedures.
• Support investigations related to customer complaints and deviations.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to maintain quality.
• Support continuous improvement of inspection methods and testing processes.
• Review data and sterilization records for accuracy and compliance.
• Operate and maintain 5S in the work area; move materials with pallet jack.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work both independently and in a team.
