Vitesse Systems is hiring a Quality Control Inspector II for on-site work in Jessup, MD. You will inspect components and assemblies, verify documentation, and log data with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM.

You’ll ensure conformance to drawings and issue non-conformances as needed. The role emphasizes safe practices, adherence to quality procedures, and cooperation with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers and height gauges.
• Ability to inspect parts to blueprint specifications and document results.
• Maintain proper documentation and non-conformance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspection using precision measurement tools.
• Verify traveler sign-offs and SPC sheets per procedures.
• Check part numbers, revisions and dates against work orders.
• Record data and generate non-conformance reports as needed.
• Operate CMM setup and maintain calibrated inspection equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety policies.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Uphold company values and quality standards.
