Job summary

Plastic Molding Technology LLC is seeking a Quality Control Inspector II to join our Centennial, CO team. You will perform maintenance, inspect injection molds, and ensure product quality on the assigned shift, using CMMs and precision gauges.

Strong reading of engineering drawings and attention to detail are required. The role emphasizes preventative actions, data logging, and collaboration with production to approve or rework raw materials and finished goods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational/trade school in Tool & Die, Machining, or Mold Making preferred.
• Proven experience as a quality control inspector or relevant role.
• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Demonstrated knowledge of advanced measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of injection molds and tooling.
• Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating adjustments.
• Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting tests, returning to re-work as needed.
• Document inspection results and input data into quality database.
• Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive action.
