Tecomet is seeking a Quality Inspector II to perform advanced inspections on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods. You will ensure compliance with specifications, record data accurately, and collaborate with production teams to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Three years of quality inspector experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic math for reading drawings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of materials, components, and finished products.
• Perform inspections of machined parts with close tolerances using precision instruments.
• Conduct first piece, in-process and final inspections per specs and drawings.
• Use equipment such as comparator, toolmaker microscope, and contour reader per procedures.
• Check drawings, prints, and specifications for dimensional requirements.
• Determine acceptance or rejection of items and document results.
• Notify supervisors of failures to meet customer specifications.
• Prepare inspection papers and labels; process shipping papers per order.
• Maintain records and keep work area clean and safe.
• Move materials as needed and follow company rules for quality standards.
