Job summary

IPG Photonics’ IPG Medical division seeks a dedicated Quality role in Marlborough, MA to ensure materials meet specifications and documentation practices support compliant production. You will review DHRs and assist in calibration tasks, with a strong emphasis on GMP, ISO13485, and CFR 21-820.

The role requires 1–3 years in a quality function (medical device preferred) and the ability to read drawings and use MS Word/Excel; familiarity with QMS/PLM/CMMS is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Additional training in Quality and/or a focus in medical device preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of materials and documentation for conformity to specifications.
• Support manufacturing operations through timely review of DHRs with release of finished goods.
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices and good documentation practices.
• Assist Quality Engineers and manufacturing personnel in calibration activities and in reviewing calibrated equipment.
