Job Summary

2nd shift
12:00pm - 8:30pm
Monday - Friday

The QC Inspector I plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of products in manufacturing or distribution environments. Responsibilities include inspecting materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. The role involves conducting visual and measurement tests, documenting findings, and reporting defects or discrepancies. The inspector works closely with production or distribution teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.

Job Description
  1. Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products. Document results and maintain records.
  2. Use measurement tools and equipment to verify product dimensions and specifications.
  3. Identify and report defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
  4. Collaborate with production or distribution teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  5. Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and standards.
  6. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  7. Assess inbound damaged finished goods and repackage as needed.
  8. Support tasks such as inventory checks, recall verifications, handling deviations, relabeling, rework, and pedigree verification.
  9. Operate powered material handling equipment if required.
  10. Read and interpret instructions, blueprints, and documents.
  11. Comply with SOPs, Quality Systems, OSHA guidelines, and company policies.

The salary range for this position is $18.75 - $26.25 hourly, depending on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline ensures pay is not below the minimum wage or salary threshold.
