Job Summary

1st shift
8-4:30pm Monday - Friday

The QC Inspector I plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of products in manufacturing or distribution environments. Responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards. This role involves conducting visual and measurement tests, documenting findings, and reporting any defects or discrepancies. The QC Inspector I will work closely with production or distribution teams to identify and resolve quality issues, contributing to process improvements.

Job Description

Major Responsibilities
  1. Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
  2. Use measurement tools and equipment to test and verify product dimensions and specifications.
  3. Identify and report defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
  4. Collaborate with production or distribution teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, or determine product disposition.
  5. Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and standards.
  6. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  7. Assess inbound damaged finished goods and repackage as needed.
  8. Support tasks such as inventory checks, recall verifications, handling deviations, relabeling, rework, pedigree verification, and other projects.
  9. Operate powered material handling equipment if required.
  10. Read and interpret instructions, blueprints, and other documents.
  11. Comply with SOPs, Quality Systems, OSHA guidelines, and company policies.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $17.00 - $23.75 per hour. Actual salary depends on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage.
