Responsibilities

• Collect end-of-line product samples at intervals and perform quality testing per work instructions.
• Test thickness, basis weight, fiber diameter, fiber index, friability, crystallinity, tensile strength, and compression.
• Provide production support, including relief for End of Line operators and assistance with needle board rebuilding and refurbishment.
• Audit production lines and product quality; communicate test results and sorting requirements to production teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area; complete shift turnover reports and enter test results into electronic systems.

What You'll Bring:

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
• Lifting requirements up to 50 lbs., be able to handle repetitive stair and ladder climbing, and work successfully in team environment.
• Tools and equipment used: Fork truck, computer, wet scrubber, furnaces, small hand tools, carton sealer, stapler, carton erector, tape gun, stretch wrapper, power washer, etc.
• Facilities Used: Electricity, water, compressed air, steam, LP gas, etc.
• Materials Used: Ceramic Fiber mixes, cutters, bags, stretch wrap, hand tools.
