Job summary

Globus Medical is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform QC inspections and package testing on in-process materials and finished products, ensuring compliance with FDA, state, OSHA, AATB, and ISO standards. This role emphasizes accurate documentation of non-conformances and maintaining calibrated inspection tools.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma with at least 1 year of QC inspection experience, proficiency with standard measurement equipment, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in quality control inspections preferred.
• Ability to use standard measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, profilometer, gages, torque wrench).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable, self-starter with ability to work with little supervision and be detail oriented.
• Must have vision abilities including close/distance/color/depth perception and focus adjustment.
• Familiarity with GMP and SOPs; ISO standards a plus.
• Strong clerical and math skills.
• Flexible team player in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC inspections on manufacturing supplies, labels, in-process materials, and sterile packaged finished products.
• Perform peel testing of sterile product seals.
• Follow instructions from batch records, work instructions and process specs.
• Document non-conformances when found and bring issues to QA supervision.
• Maintain GMP and inspection techniques; adhere to safety practices.
• Keep QC lab and work areas organized and calibrated equipment maintained.
• Collaborate with team, support production schedules and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
