Job summary

JAK Diversified II INC is seeking a QC Inspector to ensure that packaging and production meet SOPs, cGMPs, GDPs, and client requirements, with independent oversight throughout the manufacturing process.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and clear communication with Production and Quality Management to resolve nonconformances and maintain high product quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior quality experience in a manufacturing, packaging, pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, food, cosmetic, or related regulated environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cGMPs, Good Documentation Practices, and quality inspection procedures preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Ability to accurately complete and review production and quality documentation.
• Ability to identify, communicate, and elevate quality and compliance issues.
• Ability to work independently while effectively communicating with Production and Quality Management.

Responsibilities

• Effectively monitor and enforce compliance with SOPs, cGMPs, GDPs, and client requirements.
• Oversee and approve production line clearance activities prior to startup.
• Verify that Level I and II cleaning requirements are completed per procedures.
• Execute validation activities as required by protocols and Master Batch Records.
• Perform swab testing of packaging equipment and collect samples as required.
• Verify correct bulk product, packaging components, labels, and other materials are issued and used for the applicable lot.
• Confirm that packaging operations are completed per specifications and Master Batch Records.
• Perform and document required in-process quality inspections and quality checks.
• Complete all required quality and production documentation accurately and legibly.
• Exercise quality authority to accept, reject, or escalate nonconforming materials or products.
• Ensure that all quality and production documentation is properly completed and signed.
• Investigate and report production, material, inventory, and documentation discrepancies to Quality Management.
• Collect, identify, label, and account for samples per Master Packaging Specifications and Master Batch Records.
• Audit packaging lines for compliance with PPE, hygiene, cGMPs, and GDPs.
• Immediately communicate and elevate quality or compliance concerns to Quality Management.
