Job summary

Generant Inc. in Butler, NJ, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure manufactured parts meet specifications. You will inspect metal components, verify calibration status, and document results.

You will perform First Article and in-process inspections, maintain metrology tools, and report deviations. A fast-paced environment requires accuracy, teamwork, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of metrology equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, depth micrometers, gauge pins, thread gauges, optical comparators).
• Advanced math skills and understanding of SPC techniques and tools.
• Fluent in English (verbal, reading, and written).

Responsibilities

• Conduct First Article Inspection and in-process inspections to ensure product conformance.
• Maintain calibration of metrology tools and measurement devices.
• Perform in-process, final, raw material, and incoming part inspections."
• Document inspections and nonconformances in quality databases.
• Interpret mechanical drawings and communicate nonconformances to management.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive actions to improve product quality.
