Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a field-based Quality Control Inspector to oversee contract manufacturers in the NJ/NY area. You will ensure products meet quality, compliance and presentation standards before market release, acting as the liaison between the brand and manufacturing partners.

The role involves travel between CMs with flexible hours and a 24–40 hour weekly workload. Applicants should have 4+ years QA experience in cosmetics or related fields and familiarity with GMP and ISO 22716.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of QA experience in personal care/cosmetics/pharma/food & beverage.
• Experience with GMP practices and ISO 22716.
• Ability to perform on-site inspections and maintain inspection logs.

Job Description

A client in the prestige hair care industry is looking for a field based Quality Control Inspector. This person will travel between Contract Manufacturers (CMs) between Saddle Brook, NJ and Port Jarvis, NY. This role has flexible hours, and candidates can expect weekly schedules with between 24-40 hours of work per week. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for oversight of CM operations, ensuring finished products consistently meet internal quality, compliance and presentation standards before release to market. Serving as the key liaison between the brand and its manufacturing partners, this role focuses on real-time production oversight

Skills and Requirements

• Performs On-Site Inspections
• AQL sampling
• Physical and Functional testing, including torque testing on caps and pumps, leakage testing for seal verification, and aesthetic checks
• Compliance Oversight
• Non Conformance Management
• Digital Reporting and inspection logs
• 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance in either personal care, cosmetics, beauty, pharmaceuticals or food and beverage
• Experience with GMP practices and ISO 22716
