The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for all quality functions related to fabrication activities, reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor.

What You'll Do Here

• Participate in inspections as outlined in the Construction and Inspection and Test Plans.
• Perform quality inspections according to codes and specifications, including weld inspections.
• Review History Documents and Certified Material Test Reports as needed.
• Monitor welding activities.
• Maintain records of inspections.
• Support the Series Quality Control Lead with quality and inspection queries.
• Obtain necessary training to perform inspections proficiently.
• Support quality control activities under the Quality Program, including subcontractor work, based on approved processes and standards.
• Assist site QC activities for the project.
• Review and validate Quality Records promptly after activities.

What You Bring To The Team

• Knowledge of Safety and Quality principles in the Nuclear industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive safety and quality culture contribution.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and computer skills relevant to the role.
• Degree in welding technology, QA/QC, or related field preferred.
• W178 Level 2 Visual Weld Inspection certification preferred; Level 1 minimum.
• Effective time management.
• Ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.
• Attention to detail and focus on results.
• Awareness of Human Performance principles.
• Knowledge of ISO, CSA, ASME standards and codes.
