Job summary

SURGE Staffing is hiring a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to help ensure materials and manufactured products meet quality standards. This role involves inspecting materials and finished products, identifying defects, documenting quality issues, and supporting daily manufacturing operations.

This position is ideal for someone with prior manufacturing or quality inspection experience who values accuracy, consistency, and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous quality inspection, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete inspection documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience with JDE or other manufacturing software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, products in production, and finished goods for defects.
• Check materials and products against established quality standards.
• Identify, document, and report quality issues.
• Take photographs and complete basic inspection reports as needed.
• Use a computer to enter inspection results and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate quality concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Assist the quality team with maintaining product and packaging standards.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
