Overview

Allied Wire & Cable (AWC), a GCG company, is seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Control Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will perform detailed quality control inspections of products using hand tools to ensure they meet customer standards.

Details

Hours: 2PM to 10:30PM, Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: $21/hr ($20/hr + $1 shift differential) + full benefits

Location: 101 Kestrel Drive, Collegeville, PA 19426

Responsibilities
  • Visually inspect products and use micrometers, calipers, and rulers for measurements
  • Read and interpret order tickets and customer requirements, ensuring accuracy and undamaged products
  • Coordinate with sales on order issues and documentation
  • Reconcile final inspection documentation (REACH, RoHS, CoC, etc.)
  • Assist with additional duties as needed
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience in quality control required
  • Proficiency with hand tools (calipers, micrometers, rulers)
  • Computer skills for data entry and emailing
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment vision screening
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift 50 lbs regularly
