Job description

Quality Control Inspector - 1st Shift

Pay: $65k-85k/yr. (negotiable based on experience)

Shift: 7am to 3:30pm (Mon-Fri)

Description:

• Cannonball Recruiting is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to handle receiving inspections, in-process and final inspections, testing, work process control, and other QA/QC tasks.

Requirements:

• High school diploma required.
• Technical/vocational training preferred.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Mechanical experience preferred.
• Level II Inspector Certifications (Mechanical, Receiving Inspection).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/prints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to pass an eye exam.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, walk, reach overhead, and climb ladders.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of welding processes.
• Experience with mechanical calibration.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• OSHA-compliant work experience.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools, including Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
• NDE Level II qualification (VT, MT, PT).

Job Duties:

• Inspect and document incoming materials using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Conduct and record inspections of painted products with electronic measuring equipment.
• Perform and document in-process and final inspections of completed products.
