The Role:

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that finished products and raw materials meet quality control requirements. This position interacts with the production, purchasing, and shipping departments.

What You Will Do:

• Inspect the quality of raw materials and outsourced products requiring incoming inspection.
  Document defective raw materials and outsourced product findings, and communicate quality issues to the supply chain, working to resolve them.
• Check the filling line before each production run to ensure that:
  • All packaging materials from previous production are removed from the filling area.
  • The filling line was cleaned and validated (if required).
  • The correct type of packaging was brought to the filling line.
• Inspect the quality of finished products for:
  • Fill weight
  • Heat seal
  • Verify and odor
  • Lot number
  • Application and removal torque
  • General appearance
  • Pallet configurations
  • Other relevant quality parameters
• Document quality control findings.
• Review daily production batch records.
• Archive production records and related quality documents.
• Train production personnel on quality procedures.
• Collaborate with the production department to resolve quality issues related to finished products.
• Perform detailed quality control inspections of first runs of new products.

Compensation Range:

$19.00-$21.00
