Job summary

Avalign Technologies in Greenwood, IN is seeking a Quality Inspector to evaluate statistical data and ensure the quality and reliability of products for our 1st shift facility. You will perform first article inspections, review blueprints, and conduct in-process audits against material routings, using Pareto charts and control plans to support quality objectives and compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of related experience, with strong math skills

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Quality inspector evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article inspection with detailed documentation.
• Work with minimal supervision using detailed procedures, forms and manuals as a guide to job performance.
• In process auditing that will require the review of operator and process performance working to specifications as referred to in material routings.
• Use control plans, Material routing instructions, computer print outs, and Pareto charts.
• Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
• Tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics
• Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

What You’ll Need:
