Job summary

Champion Home Builders in Woodland, CA is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to inspect parts and products, verify dimensions, and ensure conformance with internal standards and materials lists.

You will work with engineering, sales and manufacturing to resolve design and process issues, uphold safety policies in line with OSHA, and support continual quality improvements in our production facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 1 year related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret product specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering, sales and manufacturing personnel to resolve problems related to product design, materials, specifications and/or manufacturing operations.
• Ensure all quality control policies, procedures, directives and systems are in compliance with company and/or applicable federal regulations, continually strive to increase quality assurance within the facility.
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with OSHA regulations.

Summary

Inspect parts, products and/or processes to insure conformance with standards. Inspects materials or products using fixed or variable measuring instruments. Checks for irregularities and defects. Compares product with parts list to ensure completion of assembly. Verifies specified dimensions on product or material by performing the following duties.

• Ensures all quality control policies, procedures, directives and systems are in compliance with company and/or applicable federal regulations, continually strives to increase the level of quality assurance within the facility.
• Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with guidelines established by the Company in accordance with OSHA regulations.

Education and/or Experience
