Job summary

Champion Home Builders inspects parts, products and processes to ensure conformance with standards. The role includes checking dimensions and using measurement tools to verify assembly accuracy and quality, and comparing products to parts lists for completeness.

Collaborate with engineering, sales and manufacturing to resolve design and material issues, while ensuring compliance with safety policies and federal regulations, including OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED and 1 year related experience or training, or equivalent.
• Experience inspecting parts or products for conformance to standards.

Summary

Inspect parts, products and/or processes to insure conformance with standards. Inspects materials or products using fixed or variable measuring instruments. Checks for irregularities and defects. Compares product with parts list to ensure completion of assembly. Verifies specified dimensions on product or material by performing the following duties.

• Coordinates with engineering, sales and manufacturing personnel to effectively resolve problems related to product design, materials, specifications and/or manufacturing operations.
• Ensures all quality control policies, procedures, directives and systems are in compliance with company and/or applicable federal regulations, continually strives to increase the level of quality assurance within the facility.
• Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with guidelines established by the Company in accordance with OSHA regulations.

Education and/or Experience
