Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking an experienced QC/Inspector to verify conformance of parts and perform first article inspections. You will review prints, develop test plans, and document all measurements with clear reports.

Ideal candidates have 5 years of advanced mechanical inspection experience, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to lead corrective actions while coordinating with the QC team. This role includes competitive compensation and strong employee benefits.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in advanced mechanical inspection of complex machined parts and performing first article inspections & reports.
  • Able to read, understand, analyze, and interpret written information.
  • Able to write clear informative reports, including work instructions.
  • Able to effectively communicate with all levels of individuals in a variety of situations.
  • Able to remember assigned tasks & due dates, strings of numbers, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Verifies conformance of purchased parts, in-house machined parts and finished goods by reviewing part prints, specifications and developing inspection & test plans.
  • Determines tools necessary to inspect parts per part print, specifications and test plan.
  • Completes inspections per part print, specifications and test plan.
  • Conducts visual verifications of parts per specifications.
  • Documents measurements in a test record and outlines non-conformities in a formal failure report.
  • Performs manufacturing process audits to ensure conformance to procedures and ISO standards.
  • Follows work instructions and suggests revisions for process improvement.
  • Leads problem solving and corrective action efforts when needed.
  • Coordinates daily with inspectors and ensures on-time QC tasks.
  • Adheres to safety requirements.

Responsibilities
Job Duties:
  • Verifies conformance of purchased parts, in-house machined parts and finished goods by:
  • Reviewing part prints, specifications and developing inspection & test plans.
  • Determining tools necessary to inspect parts per part print, specifications and test plan.
  • Completing inspections per part print, specifications and test plan.
  • Conducting visual verifications of parts per specifications.
  • Clearly documenting all measurements obtained in an inspection within a test record.
  • Accurately outlines any non-conformities found in a formal failure report.
  • Performs manufacturing process audits to assess conformance to appropriate documented procedures and instructions which adheres to ISO standard, and verifies controls are in-place to maintain conformance.
  • Follows all appropriate work instructions and procedures relevant to the role. Recommends revisions to work instructions as deemed appropriate for process improvement.
  • Actively involved in, as well as potentially leading, problem solving and corrective action implementation efforts.
  • Coordinates daily with other inspectors and ensures on-time completion of all QC Team tasks.
  • Familiar with, and adheres to, all safety requirements.
