Job summary

Afognak Native Corporation is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure contract compliance by inspecting all phases of goods and services for conformity to standards. The role involves on-going work on site and collaboration with the PM to administer instructions and communications as needed.

Key duties include supporting incoming/outgoing inspections, in-process and final QA activities, corrective and preventive action, data analysis, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience preparing and enforcing Quality Management programs on contracts of similar size, scope and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Support as needed all in-coming material and outgoing product inspection process.
• Inspect products in-process thru final quality-control and quality assurance activities.
• Support QC with Corrective Action Requests and remediation.
• Recommend and assist in implementing Preventive Action request and continuous improvement processes.
• Maintain adherence to Company policies, safety/ergonomic standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Assist in gathering and publishing of measurement and metric data and analyze for trends and connectivity to company goals.
• Analyze and manage identified production, process defects.
• Assist in the review, analyze, create, and correct work instructions or other production documentation necessary to perform and maintain the quality management.

The Quality Control Inspector implements quality control to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations, inspects all phases of a variety of goods, services or operation for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing on-going work for compliance with contractual provisions. Will assist to the PM when needed to administer instructions and other communications, or other duties required to support operations onsite for the staff.

Pay Rate: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00

Requirements

• 6 years of experience in preparing and enforcing Quality Management programs on contracts of similar size, scope and complexity.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Candidate must speak fluent English and Spanish.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and capable of obtaining a security clearance
