Atterro is hiring a Quality Control Inspector in Sugar Land, TX. The role involves inspecting products to meet engineering specifications, utilizing precision measuring tools, and maintaining meticulous quality records to support safe and efficient manufacturing.

You will perform mechanical and visual inspections, review rejected materials, and participate in internal audits. A high school diploma or GED is required, with experience in quality inspection preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical and visual inspections to Engineering and TQC specifications on multiple product lines (full range of ratings).
  • Keep good documentation control (Paperwork, upkeep records, filing, write reject documentation, create RMRs).
  • Review and approve rejected material.
  • Perform internal audits on TIC Production Work Instructions and write a report on findings.
  • Inspect equipment and files.

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

Job Duties

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience performing first article, in-process, or final product inspections is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, statistical process control, quality documentation, or corrective action procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are well positioned for success as a Quality Control Inspector.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain visual focus and attention to detail while inspecting products in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
