Job summary

Fabrinet is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform a variety of inspection procedures to ensure quality levels in manufacturing, supporting total customer satisfaction. The role includes inspecting assemblies, interpreting blueprints and ECOs, and determining acceptance, rejection, or rework requirements.

Candidates should have 6+ years in quality, be proficient with PCBA, measurement equipment, and SMT, and be capable of reading drawings and BOMs.

Qualifications

• PCBA experience required.
• Ability to use measurement equipment.
• Able to read ECO/Dev instruction/build drawer and BOM.
• Familiar with SMT; identify components; IPC 610 knowledge; IPC cert preferred.
• Familiar with First Piece and First Article process.

Responsibilities

• Inspect in-process or finished production assemblies and sub-assemblies for conformance to quality assurance standards.
• From blueprint, ECOs or procedures determine acceptance, rejection, or rework requirements.
• Evaluate new procedures for non-standard rest and perform special set-up on new equipment.
• Assist others in correcting or preventing deficiencies in quality or workmanship.
• Provide direction to other inspectors and ensure customer expectations are met.
• Perform first article process and identify components.
• Perform related tasks as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Education: Secondary/High School, Certificate Diploma

Experience: 6+ Years preferably in Quality

Required skill:

PCBA Experienced

Able to use measurement equipment.

Familiar with SMT and identify component, IPC 610 Knowledge and preferred IPC Cert. Familiar w/ First Piece and First Article process.
