Job summary

Haig Precision is a full-service metal manufacturing company specializing in sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, laser cutting, EDM, stamping/blanking, welding, powder coating, and mechanical assembly. We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector with experience in precision metal manufacturing.

This role is responsible for ensuring all parts and assemblies meet customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in metal manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining and/or sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to read complex technical drawings and understand tolerances.
• Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections
• Inspect sheet metal and machined components for dimensional accuracy
• Use precision measuring tools including:
• Conduct visual inspection of welds and finished parts
• Complete inspection reports and documentation
• Work closely with machinists, fabricators, and welders to resolve quality issues
• Identify non-conforming materials and initiate corrective actions
• Maintain calibration records for inspection equipment
