Job summary

Global Connections to Employment (GCE) is seeking a Custodial Quality Control Inspector to ensure adherence to the Quality Control Plan at assigned worksites. You will inspect cleaning services for defects and timeliness, investigate complaints, and recommend corrective actions.

You will communicate findings to the Project Manager and help drive service improvements. The role requires at least two years in custodial services, knowledge of Ability One, and strong communication and teamwork

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in custodial services.
  • Knowledge of Ability One mission and expectations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent team member and customer service skills.
  • Physically able to perform general tasks described in the contract.
  • May require a valid driver’s license and insurability.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for work on the contract and pass screenings.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the GCE Quality Control Plan and inspect services for defects, timeliness, and discrepancies.
  • Receive, investigate, and provide root cause analysis for customer complaints with corrective recommendations.
  • Provide performance objectives to the Project Manager and operational staff and coordinate improvements.

Overview

The Custodial Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for the GCE Quality Control Plan (QCP) adherence as it pertains to the performance standards of the specific worksite(s) assigned. The QC Inspector is responsible for providing the Project Manager and the operational staff with established performance objectives and inspecting services for defects, timeliness, and discrepancies. This position will receive, investigate, and provide root cause analysis regarding customer complaints and provide recommendations to correct when deficiencies are confirmed.

Role Requirements:
  • Experience:
    o Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in custodial services.
  • Must possess knowledge of Ability One mission and expectations.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have excellent team member/customer service skills.
  • Must be physically able to perform general tasks detailed in the assigned contract.
  • Must interact appropriately with customers and team members.
  • May require a valid driver’s license in the state they reside, have a satisfactory drivingrecord, and be insurable under company policy.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s).
  • Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, as appropriate.
Physical Requirements:

May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions. Most work will take place indoors. Will work with cleaning chemicals. Will be required to follow the Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change.

While performing this job's duties, the team member is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, and lift up to 40 pounds. Must be able to assist in lifting equipment and move furniture when necessary; will occasionally be required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
