Job summary

Global Connections to Employment (GCE) is seeking a Custodial Quality Control Inspector to ensure adherence to the Quality Control Plan and performance standards at the assigned worksite. You will inspect services for defects, timeliness, and discrepancies, and provide root cause analyses and corrective recommendations to the Project Manager and team.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to pass background screenings.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Manager and operations staff to meet performance objectives.
  • May travel to various locations and work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Overview

The Custodial Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for the GCE Quality Control Plan (QCP) adherence as it pertains to the performance standards of the specific worksite(s) assigned. The QC Inspector is responsible for providing the Project Manager and the operational staff with established performance objectives and inspecting services for defects, timeliness, and discrepancies. This position will receive, investigate, and provide root cause analysis regarding customer complaints and provide recommendations to correct when deficiencies are confirmed.

Role Requirements
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in custodial services.
  • Must possess knowledge of Ability One mission and expectations.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have excellent team member/customer service skills.
  • Must be physically able to perform general tasks detailed in the assigned contract.
  • Must interact appropriately with customers and team members.
  • May require a valid driver’s license in the state they reside, have a satisfactory driving record, and be insurable under company policy.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s).
  • Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, as appropriate.
Physical Requirements:

May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions. Most work will take place indoors. May work with cleaning chemicals. Will be required to follow the Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change. May require working early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, and/or evening hours as well as weekends and holidays.

While performing this job's duties, the team member is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, sit (to drive), and lift up to 40 pounds. Will occasionally be required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
