Job description

Quality Control Inspector - Marine Corp Base Camp Pendleton

EMI Services is looking for a Quality Control Inspector. The primary responsibility includes inspecting, monitoring, coordinating, and ensuring compliance with the quality control program for all work performed by operations and maintenance staff. This encompasses electrical, mechanical, HVAC equipment and associated systems (including PMs and service work orders), alterations, repairs, and subcontractors, to meet the requirements specified in the Quality Control Program. The ideal candidate has experience or training in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC/BAS control systems.

Salary: Starting at $65,000 (DOE) plus employer-paid insurance!

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine goods, services, or operations for conformity to standards
  • Verify maintenance and repair services meet established standards
  • Ensure permits or licenses are obtained and displayed
  • Interpret regulations and assist establishments in compliance
  • Investigate complaints and prepare reports
  • Recommend changes to standards, procedures, and practices
  • Inform QC Manager of issues within your area of responsibility
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, with training in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC/BAS systems
  • Dependable attendance
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Pass pre-employment screening and background check
  • U.S. citizenship for access to military installations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience
Physical Requirements
  • Carrying objects short distances
  • Extensive computer work
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance
  • Use of hands, reaching, talking, walking
  • Prolonged sitting, bending, squatting, standing, twisting, or stooping
  • Climbing ladders and entering confined spaces
  • Work outdoors and indoors in various weather conditions
