Job summary

Ultra PCS in Manhattan, KS seeks a Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing operations team to inspect products and ensure quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to quality work, with responsibilities including inspection using gauges, calibrators, and vision systems, and documenting results.

Hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. with occasional overtime; background check and pre-employment drug testing required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products using gauges, calipers, coordinate measuring machine, scales, and vision.
• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement inspections; and communicating findings to supervisor.
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; and confirming re-work.
• Document inspection results by completing checklists, reports, and logs; summarizing re-work and scrap; inputting data into quality database.
• Verify quality documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Packages items and prepares them for outbound shipping.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
