Job description
Quality Control Inspector

Manchester, CT 06040 US

This position is a contract to perm opportunity with a pay rate of $27-31.50 per hour.

Job Description

The Quality Control Technician will coordinate product assurance procedures and activities on-site at the manufacturing facility and ensure product compliance. The successful candidate will apply strong knowledge of Quality Control and quality management systems (QMS) to develop or improve internal processes and customer products.

Responsibilities will include performing incoming, in-process, and final product inspections, using pre-determined methods and operations to inspect visually and dimensionally manufactured parts, and creating Non-conforming (NCMR) tags.

Qualifications
  • AS/BS in technical field preferred; High School Diploma or Equivalent accepted with 5+ years of experience
  • 2+ Years in Quality Control
  • Familiarity with Aerospace regulatory standards preferred
  • Technical proficiency with inspection & test equipment
  • Knowledge of GD&T principles
  • Ability to occasionally lift 40 lbs is required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
