Job Description

Astura’s QC Inspector will perform various inspection techniques of medical devices and will report to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Mechanical measurements using micrometer, caliper, comparator, misc. gauges.
• Visual inspection using finish gauges.
• Functional inspection using hard gauges.
• Documenting and processing of inspection data and documentation.

Qualifications

• Understanding of measurement techniques and metrology: Caliper, Micrometer, Pin Gauges, Block Gauges, Optical Comparator.
• Good arithmetic skills required.
• GD&T experience is desired.
• Detail oriented.
• Organized.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office Products: Excel, Word.
• Must have good English written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in medical devices or aerospace is desired.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in all job responsibilities listed above (proficiency test will be conducted).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Wage

$23-$25/hr
