Job summary

Therm-x in California seeks a Quality Control Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections for mechanical and assembly parts. You will read drawings, record data, and support QA activities within a Modesto location environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts, verifying PO data in ERP, and coordinating with quality and production teams. Familiarity with GD&T and basic CMM operations is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Basic inspection of parts and documentation of results.
• Ability to read product drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with GD&T concepts.
• Experience using CMM equipment is a plus.

The Quality Control Inspector will perform basic visual inspection by using devices. Be able to record inspection data onto inspection form. Perform incoming inspection of parts which may include activities such as PO verification using ERP system.

This position is for our Modesto location.

Technical Requirements:

• Perform in-process and final inspections for mechanical as well as assembly parts. Support machine shop QA function.
• Read product drawings and specifications.
• Utilize MS Office Suite applications including Word, Excel & Access.
• Work with quality and production personnel.

Education and Training:

• Use basic mechanical hand tools such as Caliper and micrometer and torque screw drivers. Electrical devices such as Digital Multi-Meters, Ohmmeters.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite applications including Word, Excel & Access Data Base and outlook
• Read and interpret Blue Prints.
• Basic understanding of GD &T
• Basic CMM operation experience
