Job summary

ATMI Precast in Greenfield, Indiana is seeking a diligent team member to perform pre-pour and post-pour inspections, testing concrete, and assisting in production improvements. This role requires a strong mathematical aptitude, communication skills, and the ability to read blueprints

Applicants should possess an Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science, and prior leadership experience is preferred. The position may require a flexible schedule, including early starts and some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Obtain ACI within six months of employment.
• Prior leadership experience in a related field preferred.
• Ability to use and read a measuring tape.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-pour and post-pour inspections against industry tolerances, both dimensional and aesthetic
• Test concrete against company and industry design tolerances
• Perform concrete strength testing
• Complete and file reports in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with all levels of management
• Assist with the development and implementation of production improvements

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science preferred
• Obtain ACI within six months of employment
• Prior leadership experience in a related field preferred
• Ability to read construction blueprints in 2D and 3D
• Ability to use and read a measuring tape
• Strong basic mathematical skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Strong communication skills and acceptable attendance history

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to start work at 3 am
• Ability to occasionally lift and move objects up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb onto and down from equipment
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders and walk long distances in an industrial setting
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions including inclement weather, heat, humidity, and exposure to dust

Hours

• Typically 40 or more hours per week
• Some Saturdays may be required
