Qualifications

  • 1-year experience in Quality in a Manufacturing environment; experience working with glass preferred
  • Able to demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem solving, and process improvement
  • Proficient with data entry into ERP systems
  • Strong skills with MS Word and Excel with ability to create reports
  • Able to handle changing priorities
  • Able to work independently or within a team
  • Proactive and creative problem solver with proven ability to multitask and manage deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all quality control procedures and policies

  • Conduct training when needed
  • Organize trials for new products
  • Support and drive continuous improvement throughout the plant
  • Coordinate and participate in rework activity

Description

The Quality Control Inspector will provide focused, hands‑on quality support and expertise for all plant related quality issues. This position will visually inspect all products, crates, and packaging prior to products being shipped to customers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

WORKING CONDITIONS

This is a Non-Exempt level position working in a Manufacturing environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Standing for long periods and occasionally lifting weight up to 25 pounds is required.
  • Must have 20/20 vision with the ability to distinguish between various colors with or without aids such as glasses or contacts.
