Job summary

Kelly Services in Charlotte, NC seeks a Quality Inspector for a temp-to-perm role. You will perform quality inspections on precision spring products, using a shadow graph to verify measurements and conduct load testing.

The schedule is four 10-hour shifts, Mon-Thu 5:00 AM-3:00 PM, with a pay rate of $22.00-$24.00 per hour based on experience. Ideal candidates have about 5 years of relevant experience and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using a shadow graph/comparator.
• Understand basic geometry and apply it to part inspection.
• Comfortable performing hands-on inspection and spring load testing.
• Basic computer skills, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on precision spring products to ensure customer and company specifications are met.
• Use a shadow graph/comparator to inspect parts and verify measurements.
• Conduct load testing on springs.
• Read and interpret basic geometric requirements and inspection criteria.
• Document inspection results and quality data accurately.
• Use basic computer programs, including Excel, to enter and track quality information.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to identify issues and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in an industrial/manufacturing environment.

Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Pay Rate: $22.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience

What’s a typical day as a Quality Inspector? You’ll be:

• • Performing quality inspections on precision spring products to ensure customer and company specifications are met
• • Using a shadow graph/comparator to inspect parts and verify measurements
• • Conducting load testing on springs
• • Reading and interpreting basic geometric requirements and inspection criteria
• • Documenting inspection results and quality data accurately
