Job summary

APT Electronics, Inc. seeks a Quality Control Inspector to monitor, test, and inspect all production processes, ensuring product quality and adherence to standards.

The role includes interpreting drawings, monitoring product development, and ensuring quality of purchased and finished goods. You will operate AOI machines, complete training, document inspections, and identify problems with recommendations to management.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma and IPC 610/J-STD-001 certification.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing as inspector or operator (minimum 2 years).
• Proficient in in-process and final inspection and capable of documenting QA processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Position Summary: Quality Control Inspector monitors, tests and inspects all processes involved in the production of a product and product itself. To ensure the quality standards are met by every component of the product or service provided by APT.May be cross-trained as an AOI Operator.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Monitor the development of all products manufactured by the company.
• Responsible for acquiring the quality in the product and services of APT.
• QC inspector monitors every process involved in the production of a product.
• It is also the responsibility of QC inspector to ensure the quality of purchased goods as well as finished goods.
• Recommend the reprocessing of the low quality products.
• Responsible for the documentation of inspection and tests conducted on products of a company.
• QC inspector should ensure the product of a company meet quality standards.
• Maintain the checklist of inspection processes and protocols used within APT.
• Identify the problems and issues regarding quality of the products and also has to make recommendation to appropriate management.
• Ability to identify electronic components.
• Ability to operate AOI machines requiring moderate complex setups, constant monitoring, and close visual inspection of the process.
• Must complete all training assigned to an AOI Operator
• Responsibility and authority to:Identify problems, recommend solutions and withhold items that do not meet quality standards.

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift 25 lbs.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma.
• IPC 610 and/or J-STD-001 certified.
• Proficient in in-process and final inspection.
• Possess skills of the professional documentation for the process of quality assurance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of the International Standard.
• Minimum (2) two years in an electronic manufacturing environment as an inspector or operator.
